Potluck Fellowship: Bring the fix’ns and stick around next Sunday following the morning services for a great church-wide potluck fellowship with the Grace Family.
Baby Dedication: If you are interested in having your baby or young child dedicated, please let Pastor know. There will be a Baby Dedication Celebration at the close of the services on March 28. This is a way for you and the church family to make a commitment before God to work together to raise your child in the “nurture and admonition of the Lord.”
Cry Room: Parents, the Resource Room (Library) is equipped with a speaker that carries the audio of the services. Please feel free to utilize this room so that everyone can benefit from the morning services.
Bibles: Need an ESV Bible to follow the sermons or for the Bible study hour. We have copies available at the Welcome Table for just $8.
Grace T-Shirt: Want one of the “No Perfect People” Grace Church T-Shirts. We have a variety of sizes and they are going for just $5 each. See Amy G between the services to pick one up.
Youth Ministry: The Grace Youth Group meets this Wednesday night from 6:30-8pm. Shane Jones is the director of this ministry and will be assisted by Missy Berg, Ben/Rachel Westby and Pastor. There are games, a study time, small group discussions and prayer circles each week.
Prayer Chain: Have a prayer need that you would like to have the church family praying for? Send it to our prayer coordinator, Robyn at prayerlist@haralsonfamily.com or call 755-2677. If you would like to be on the prayer chain, please give her your name and e-mail address.
On Facebook?: If you are Facebook, connect to the church group where we post youth events and several church related photos. This will also help you learn the names of the growing Grace Family (Group: Grace Church Osceola)
Current Sermon Series: Pastor is preaching a series of sermons titled “Harvesting Grace from the Hardships of Life.” It will last four weeks and will give you a foundation from which to understand and deal with the suffering that you see all around you and in your own life. If you missed last week’s sermon on “Why Me?,” you can get a CD of it from Cody for just $3 and then share it with a friend.
Prayer Gathering: Join others from the Grace family this Wednesday night for a weekly time of corporate prayer for the church. This will run from 6:30-7:30pm each Wednesday night.
Adult Bible Study: During the month of March, our Adult Bible studies will be focusing on the theme of “suffering” to augment the sermon series. Don’t miss this opportunity to gain a different perspective on suffering and how God is not only in control, but has a plan.
Grace Family: Check out the pictures of the Grace Family in the hallway by the pop machine. If there are families there that you don’t know, make it a point to seek them out today and introduce yourself. Maybe get together over a meal. These pictures along with their names are also posted at our church Facebook group page.
Coffee Time: There is coffee available on the table near the kitchen window for our adults between the services to enhance your fellowship time.
Those Little Interruptions: Parents, please help us by reminding your children to use the restrooms prior to the start of the service so that we can minimize the movement of people during the preaching time.
Beep, Beep Beep: Please remember to turn off your phones and pagers as you enter the auditorium Sunday mornings.
Beverages: Thank you for not bringing beverages into the sanctuary during the Worship service. It helps cut down on distractions and also helps protect our chairs. As always beverages and food items are encouraged during the Bible Study hour.
Stock Gifts: If you would like to donate stock to the church as a charitable gift, we now have a brokerage account set up so that you can get the maximum benefit (for tax purposes) from you giving. Talk to Pastor or the church treasurer for details.
Set Up Crews: We greatly appreciate the faithful work of our set up teams who prepare our building for the Sunday morning experience on a weekly basis. If you would like to help out on a rotating basis, please chat with one of our three captains – DeWayne Weise (651-257-1474), Shane Jones & Becky Ekstrand (755-3004) and Mike Mallin (755-3110)
